INNER LIGHT

Have you noticed people who are naturally shiny? They radiate a certain inner glow. In Ayurveda, this is associated with the term ojas. It is an indication of strong immunity. One who has health and confidence beam light from the inside out.

In our yoga practice we can direct energy to the center of our body. It is the region of the third chakra, Manipura and the winds of Samana Vayu. Through breathing techniques, spinal twist postures, prone backbends and a variety of standing poses, we turn on our solar battery. The inner element of fire will ignite and purify the internal system. The abdominal muscles strengthen, stabilize and tone. Our posture becomes more erect. Be the light of inspiration off the mat into your Life!
